Key takeaways from IMTS 2022

IMTS 2022 — what a show for the future of manufacturing! The KINEXON team had an incredible time introducing our real-time location technology solutions to many of the over 95,000 attendees and exhibitors in Chicago at the biggest manufacturing trade show in the Western Hemisphere. Here are the 3 key themes we took away from IMTS.

Welcoming Industry 5.0

The Solutions Theatre at Hannover Messe USA focused on bringing a series of panel discussions around advanced manufacturing issues like advanced connectivity, artificial intelligence, and a smarter workforce. Our CEO Mehdi Bentanfous spoke on the groundbreaking concept of Location-based Process Automation and how it helps prepare manufacturing for the ever-growing demands of Industry 5.0; including employee potential, resilience, and sustainability.

Digital Twins

Digital Twins were a main theme as their power and capabilities continue to rise in relevance for the manufacturing industry. In expanding the concept of digital twins to include moving assets on the shopfloor, Mehdi Bentanfous took to the stage again at the IMTS Conference. He walked attendees through our software, RTLS hardware, use cases & customer success stories, so manufacturers can take full advantage of RTLS and LPA today and tomorrow.

Seamless Integration

How do I automate this”? & How does this fit into my existing setup”? These are just some common questions we heard at IMTS this year. The topic of automation continues to run supreme in the manufacturing world as companies aggressively look for new strategies and technology to keep pace with their competition. Whether it’s purchasing new machinery, robots, or sensors, those critical questions matter because companies are not buying standalone products or technology anymore, you’re investing in a new age of automation in which all pieces seamlessly connect.

Up Next: Gearing up for The Assembly Show

We’re set for a quick turnaround as we have the Assembly Show coming into town next month. So as we wrap up IMTS, we immediately turn our attention to our tool control solution. On October 27, we are hosting a Morning Breakfast networking event at the show — our team is excited to see you there!
