One of the best features COMPETE Vision offers is a brand-new metric exclusive to KINEXON called “Shot Load.”
For each shot taken, COMPETE Vision (with the help of AI) calculates the effort exerted by the player in the 10 seconds preceding the shot, termed as the “Shot Load.” We have learned that this significantly impacts almost every shot a player takes.
By analyzing your practice and game videos, you can determine what types of shots in basketball are best in any given situation after getting your shot load statistics.
Here are some ways to improve any type of basketball shot through COMPETE Vision analysis.
Making Breakaway Layups and Contested Basketball Shots
Layups are supposed to be easy, but that is not always the case. Breakaways happen, but players are often asked to make contested layups that result in an “And 1.”
