Women's Sports Analytics Powered by AWS

Sports

Together With AWS We’re Challenging the Status Quo in Women’s Sports

Many studies in the fields of sports medicine and the exercise sciences are based on men. These findings also serve as the foundation of sports performance training and sports technology.

Consequently, men and women athletes are treated equally, despite specific demands often being blatantly obvious. KINEXON and AWS challenge this status quo.

Both companies are among the leading providers of live sports data analysis and are convinced teams have enormous potential, which can be realized through pointed, women-specific load management based on player tracking technology.

"Working together with professional women’s teams in top leagues in football, basketball, handball and volleyball...

… we have a wide range of knowledge and reference data we can rely on. Plus, through our joint initiative with AWS, we keep identifying new features, applications and improvements for our products and analysis to pointedly live up to the demands of women in top-level sports.”

What We Do

On our mission to improve conditions for women athletes and teams in professional sports in the technology sector, we have set ourselves three goals:

Sports data analysts are hoping to compile enough research to create training regimens that can apply to female athletes and optimize their performance on the field and at practice.

Listen & Learn

Players and coaches know best where potential is untapped. We teach them to use data and identify needs, promoting communication and collaboration.

Scientists want coaches and trainers to track their female athletes' menstrual cycle to better understand how they may perform on a given day.

Create & Impact

It should not stop with ideas. We closely monitor the requirements of our teams and develop achievable, effective solutions to create measurable impact.

More studies are needed to help push forward women-specific sports data collection and training.

Connect & Inform

Our experience and insights can help any team. We seek and encourage exchange, always striving to contribute towards improving professionalism.

KINEXON is one of the leading sports analytics companies in the world and is committed to helping develop better training options for women athletes.

Listen & Learn

Do women athletes and staff have the same questions about performance and stress data as men? Our work with professional women’s teams has shown time and again: No, they don’t. Are there studies and papers that deal with their requirements? No, not sufficiently (yet).

This is exactly where we start: In the first step of our initiative, we support our customers in making data analysis an integral part of their training work and in identifying potential.

Together, we find the blind spots.
