KINEXON meets the federation of austrian industry in an nostalgic format
The “Pitch im Paternoster” format enables start-ups to present their ideas to the managers of austrian companies.
The Pitch im Paternoster is Austria’s outstanding competition for startups in a historical and radiant setting in the House of Industry in Vienna. Kinexon was invited out of 150 applications to take part in this challenge. Among 13 selected startups Kinexon was awarded to get the chance to join the Pitching Days in London in cooperation with aws i2 Business Angels and further receive a legal consulting by Brandl & Talos.
The Young Industry and WhatAVenture invited emerging hardware and innovative B2B software startups to present their company to top level executives of the largest Austrian industrial enterprises, such as Infineon Technologies Austria AG, Mondi Ag, and Salzburger Aluminium AG. Each startup was assigned a cabin in the paternoster. One after the other a jury member joined the Kinexon cabin, where our managing director Nicolai von Loeper pitched the business of Kinexon in 4 minutes and convinced the jury members of the high potential of Kinexon’s technology.
Pitch im Paternoster is more than a challenge, as it connects startups with industry leaders of Austria. The startups met with leading Austrian industrial companies to explore strategic partnerships and possible cooperation. Besides the jury, further prominent attendees were the members of the Federation of Austrian Industry, a great number of CEOs and the press. At the stand we had the chance to present Kinexon’s innovative and highly precise indoor localization solution as a technology that enables Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 in the industrial context. Moreover, the crowd was impressed by the demonstration of our system, since they had the chance to interact our smart software application and experience how precise, simple, and valuable our solution is.
